A bright and optimistic boy who is both strong willed and kind. He is the second son of the Sumeragi family, descended from the founding father of New Himuka. He comes from a long line of politicians with his father, Joe Sumeragi, being the current head of government, and his older brother Kaito directing the Other Suppression Force as Chief.

He was nearly killed by Others as a child, but was saved by a member of the OSF. Since then, he's wanted to join the OSF so he could help other people, eventually going through the intense training to become a member. He still takes good care of the ear cuffs he got when his life was saved.

He is a caring person and will do anything he has to in order to protect his friends from Other monsters.

He was originally an ordinary human without powers when he was a child, used as a Guinea pig in the old OSF hospital to awake his power.

His real power is Gravikinesis, that behaves like Psychokinesis. Giving him the ability to use the Red String, a mysterious time travel ability.

The OSF member that saved him as a child was Kasane Randall, who used the red string to talk with his mother, giving him the ear cuffs in the process, and sharing her powers with him unknowingly from both.
