Chancellor to the Imperial Government of Erebonia, trusted by the Emperor to hold complete control over domestic politics of the Empire, presiding over The Vermillion Palace in the capital Heimdallr. Born a commoner, he strongly opposes the noble regime of the Erebonia Empire. He is the figurehead to the Reformist Faction that wishes to take the power from the noble for the Imperial Government. Cunning and well-versed in backroom dealings and intelligence gatherings. His monicker, "Blood and Iron Chancellor" came from his strong-arm and sometimes underhanded politics to the annexation of the surrounding state.

He is the biological father to Rean Schwarzer through his marriage with a woman named Kasia.

He is also the reincarnation of Dreichels the Lionheart Emperor, the former awakener to Ashen Divine Knight, and the 73rd Emperor of Erebonia. At some point in his life, at the whims of the curse of Erebonia orchestrated by Ishmelga, the Ebon Knight, he fell victim to the curse and became the awakener to Ishmelga. He became the Ebon Awakener until his death at Tuatha de Danaan, the Empyreal Fortress on September 1, S.1206.
