Shocking Lemon

Introduction:

Shocking Lemon was a Japanese indie rock band originally formed in 1993 in Kobe.

Biography:

The group released their first mini-album “Nothing” in 1996. In 1997 they released the single “Marshmallow Bomb” under the label Victor Entertainment before going indie again in 1998. A year later, they released two full albums and a single before signing with the label vap in 2000 under which they continued to release music, including the first two opening song for the anime Hajime no Ippo: THE FIGHTING!. In 2002 the band returned to indie status once again. In 2003 the band released their third mini-album “Everything in My Life”. Three years later they released two more singles before releasing their third and final full lenth album in 2007. After the release the band toured one last time and then officially disbanded in 2007.
