Yuu Matsumi

Yuu Matsumi is a third-year high school student at Achiga Girls' Academy in Nara Prefecture and a protagonist in the spin-off manga "Saki Achiga-hen episode of side-A". She is Kuro Matsumi's older sister. When she was younger, she wanted to join others in Achiga's mahjong club but felt it would be awkward because she was older. Yuu is very sensitive to the cold and covers herself head to toe when she goes anywhere, even in the summer. Yuu's ability is that she can draw alot of manzu and chun tiles, so her hand is manly composed of these tiles. She also draws these tiles because she feels warmer drawing in warm tiles. As a result, her tile possession distribution is generally skewed toward the character tiles. When that playing style fails, Yuu draws in all red tiles and becomes difficult to defend against. According to Kuro, Yuu is just as good as she is at mahjong. According to Toki Onjouji of Senriyama Girls' High School, Yuu has similar playing style to her.
