Sui Kaburagi

Not only does Sui possesses remarkable intelligent, concentration, and an eye for details. In battle, Sui is able to almost instantly analyzing the Festum he faces and comes up with the appropriate respond. On the other hand, when he is set onto any subject, Sui becomes very single-minded and may even forget about his surrounding and the social cues. Around Rina Nishio, the target of his crush, Sui lost some of his confidence, becoming very self-aware and distracted.

Sui's older sister, Sanae Kaburagi, was one of the Fafner Titan Model pilots who died while participating in the L-Plan. His parents Mitsuru Kaburagi and Kanae Kaburagi were deeply traumatized because of their daughter's death, and their relationship to Sui thus suffered. He constantly felt as if he was worthless to his late sister, while his mother became obsessive over Sanae's sacrifice and attempted several times to propose another L-Plan to Fumihiko Makabe.
