Shannon (Her real name is Sayo- 紗代) is a maidservant working on Rokkenjima. She has a habit of making mistakes and blunders when she is nervous, despite being an extremely talented and hardworking servant. She thinks of Kanon as her younger brother, and like him, she feels she is inferior to humans, as she is only furniture. Despite this, she has fallen in love with George.

In the second game, "Turn of the Golden Witch" Shannon is shown to having the power to use a luminous sort of scythe on her arm, as can Kanon, and a large, pink, protective shield with arrows rotating around it. She, along with Kanon, are portrayed to have been taught this by Genji, as at the end of a battle, he can put them to rest, before being thanked by the pair. In Turn of the Golden Witch she breaks a mirror sealing some of Beatrice's power in return for a spell to bring her and George together, and in Legend of the Golden Witch, it is shown that she accepts his proposal, as she is wearing the ring on her ring finger when she is killed.

Shannon is actually one of the personalities of Yasu, who is the child of Kinzo and Beatrice Ushiromiya. "Shannon" is the embodiment of the ideal servant whom Yasu admired the most as a child, and also the embodiment of femininity.
