Marie Mjolnir

The Death Scythe formerly in charge of Oceania. However, after the resurrection of Asura, her duties were reassigned to Azusa.

She is currently partnered with Stein and is an instructor at the DWMA. Tends to feel glum about her lack of success in marriage, but is a kind and genuine woman. Stein was her old crush when they were students at the DWMA, but she still seems to hold feelings towards him in some capacity.

Anime:

After Stein is overwhelmed by madness and Medusa manipulates him into joining her side, Marie goes to save him alongside Crona, using her healing wavelength to bring him back to his senses.

Manga:

Marie's former betrothed, Joe Buttataki, is murdered during an internal investigation of the DWMA. Stein is framed for the murder due to his onset of madness at the time, orchestrated by Medusa, but Marie sets out with him to find the real killer, who is later revealed to be Justin Law, a death scythe and a traitor to the DWMA.

In the final chapter, it is revealed that Marie and Stein are officially in a relationship, with Marie also being pregnant with his child.
