Dust

A warrior and a member of the party consisting of Rin, Keith, and Taylor. He is a major supporting character in the main KonoSuba series, as well as the protagonist of the Limelight spinoff series alongside Rin.

Dust is rumored to be one of the strongest adventurers in Axel, to the point where he could become a highly accomplished individual if not for his lazy personality. However, he appears to actively hide his true abilities, handicapping himself by using a longsword rather than a spear, his preferred weapon of choice.

In the Limelight spinoff series, Dust is revealed to be a formerly renowned knight born of lower-ranking nobility. Having been banished and stripped of his status after helping the princess Leonor avoid her wedding, he became a delinquent adventurer, joining Taylor's party and quickly becoming close with Rin due to her striking resemblance of Leonor. Promising the princess to do so, he only makes use of his full abilities when those he cares about are at stake.
