Atuy

A cheerful, fearless girl eternally in search of true love. Her temperament vacillates between bubbly and — when a spear is put into her capable hands — violently fearsome, and her pet Kurarin, a jellyfish-like creature, can often be found perched atop her head like a hat. She speaks with a refined, albeit provincial accent. She is the daughter of the Eight Pillar General, Soyankekur the Mariner, and is the princess of Shayhoro. Living her entire life with the sea, her name itself is a homage to the goddess worshipped by Shayhoro's sailor, Atuykarounkami who is said to be a fierce and kind Goddess that protects the sailor who also had bad luck with men, as every man she set her eyes upon met a tragic death, or so the tales said.
