Kiyose Akira did not inherently have a passion for being an Idol but loved Singing, one of his friends who he calls "Kachhan" loved his Singing and wanted to share it to tons of People around the World through Internet and thus created a YouTube Channel with the name KIKUNOYU. The name was taken from Kiyose Family's Public Bath House "KIKUNOYU" which also later became his Stage Name.

Akira is one of the Idols in the UniteUp! Anime Series. He is a high school student who enjoys singing and does video live streaming, Akira was officially signed with sMiLea Production along with Isuzugawa Chihiro and Banri Naoe, they formed the Idol group called PROTOSTAR.
