After becoming aware of the existence of the supernatural after collecting a mysterious golden ball, Aira proclaims herself as the "chosen one" that is on a mission to protect the world from evil and directs her attention towards Momo Ayase, believing that she is a demon that has to be stopped after seeing her use her psychic powers. Aira revels in her social status as the popular girl at Kami High and strives to maintain her reputation. Outwardly, she appears sweet, innocent, and somewhat air headed. However, internally, she is far more vain and prideful, a side she only shows to people she becomes close with. Whilst antagonistic towards Momo, she harbors feelings towards her close friend Okarun.

She later gains the powers of a powerful spirit named Acrobatic Silky and becomes allies / friends with Momo and Okarun, learning to be more mindful of her actions and being more open with her true self.
